The role is to start Monday 1st October 2021 to July 2022. This will be a full time, long-term role. The working hours are 08:30 – 15:30pm, Monday to Friday.

This OFSTED 'Good' Primary School in the heart of Ealing are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work with two Special Needs pupils. The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant who has a passion to develop further in Education and become a primary school teacher.

The school would like to meet a Teaching Assistant who will be flexible and adaptable in their approach to supporting the learning of the children in school.

As a special needs teaching assistant, you will be passionate in delivering the best care and support to children with additional needs. Your role as a teaching assistant will be to assist two children in Year 2 who have been statemented with Autism.

Your role will be to work with one of the children in the morning who is high functioning and verbal and the other student in the afternoon who is non-verbal. Both children have an educational healthcare plan. Your role will be to follow the plan daily, observe and report following the plan. Experience in using PECS and Makaton would be ideal but not necessary as training will be provided.

The school is based in Hanwell, Ealing. The school is located close to Hanwell over ground station and a short bus ride from Ealing Broadway station.
