On behalf of my client, who are paving the way rapidly into clean electrification of the planet's transport systems, we are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their core technical team in Central London! They're focused on the pursuit of universally clean air, aiding to a sustainable earth, combining this, they are focused on improving the insights into Battery Health, performance and degradation. Day to day, you'll be integrating and implementing advanced battery management solutions into motor sport, automotive and consumer electronic applications

Independently developing embedded solutions based on high-level requirements.
Integrating advanced battery estimation and control algorithms in diverse hardware platforms
Supporting the development of new battery state estimation and control methods.
Managing the requirements of embedded projects, ensuring reliability and compatibility across our product line within the company.
Working on industry/academic joint projects.
Any additional work that may be deemed from time to time to be critical to product or company success.
What you should have experience with to be successful with this?
Experience in embedded software engineering, with experience in different micro controller/System on Chip architectures
The ability to independently and proactively take a project from requirements to a solution
Some experience in electronics hardware (PCB) design
Programming language experience: MATLAB/Simulink, Embedded C/C++, Python
Experience with real-time control is a bonus, but not essential
Experience with batteries is a bonus, but not essential
A proactive and pragmatic approach to making things work
